They apply a signal onto underground utilities that don’t carry a detectable signal. A Leica DIGICAT xf-Series locator can then be used to locate the signal from the Leica DIGITEX signal transmitter. The Leica DIGITEX xf-Series signal transmitters are designed to provide long distance utility tracing in conjunction with the Leica DIGICAT xf-Series locators.
